Cake n' candles
While visiting some friends in Ontario Oregon yesterday, I ws surprised with a personal birthday cake! Yes, I celebrated my 28th birthday on the 2nd of July. The majority of it was on the road and was a sweet time of reflecting on God's goodness and faithfulness.
On our way home
Here are most of us from the Interface Group on our way to L.A. The Lord blessed us with a nights stay in Singapore where we were able to get some good rest. Jet lag still kicked in anyway once we got back! I praise the Lord for a very good, challenging and life changing trip for all of us.
Airport Security
These guys are the security at the airport in Goroka PNG. They do a fine job at keeping things moving and under control.

A Yagarian Bible Teacher
This is one of the Yagarian Bible teachers. The Yagairian church is roughly 40 years old and it is a strong and growing church. Their faith in God remains strong and their desire to reach others continues to grow.
The one thing that they have asked of us (you) is to pray for them. To pray that they would have the opportunity to tell others of Jesus and his finished work on the cross for us! They have even extended an invitation for us (you) to come and work with them as co-workers in doing this. Not just in their Tok Place, but everywhere in PNG. Is the Holy Spirit tugging at your heart? The needs are great, the laborers few...
More fellowship!
Here some of us are with some of the young Yagaria men singing songs. When it comes to singing and praising God, the Yagaria put us loud Americans to shame! There is no doubt that these believers understand and know who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for them!!
Yagaria Believers
Here am I with two Yagarian believers in PNG. It was priviledge to spend a couple of days with these believers. On Sunday the 24th of June, I sat down with one of the men...for an hour and a half and looked through a Yagarian New Testament that he gave me. It was so awesome and incredible to fellowship with this believer useing Tok Pigin and his heart language Yagaria (which the Yagarians were eager to teach us what they could...the incredible thing, they initiated this on the spot language learning time!). Even though we faced a barrier in language, we have the Holy Spirit in common between us. One day, I will see this man again in the presence of the Lord and language will be of no concern!!! Praise God!

Off the beaten road
This is another view of the country side. We were able to go on a short hike into the "bush". Loving the outdoors, it was a very welcome opportunity for me to see more of this earth that God has created.
This whole day, mumu and all has been totally amazing to me. To see the handi-work of God and to see the understanding and wisdom He has given man to be able to cook food (whether they acknowledge/know Him or not).
